The Privatics team is looking for a postdoc to work on the PIVOT project (https://pivot-project.info/) which focuses on privacy challenges in IoT networks. The aim of this position is to analyse privacy issues associated with names and identifiers used in IoT communication, and to design corresponding privacy-preserving mechanisms.

The Privatics team (https://team.inria.fr/privatics/) is a research group affiliated to Inria and INSA-Lyon, based in Grenoble, Lyon and Sophia Antipolis. Privatics follows a multidisciplinary approach in considering the scientific and technical issues, but also economic, legal and social aspects of privacy. The team has expertise in the identification of privacy issues, anonymization techniques and sanitization database, as well as design of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs).

Candidates should hold a PhD, have knowledge in the following topics: networking, wireless networks, privacy-protection, cryptography, embedded systems; be familiar with Linux environment, and have good programming skills (C, Python, etc.).
