About Me
I am an associate professor at INSA Lyon, under a tenure-track called Chaire Professeur Junior (CPJ). I am part of the CITI Lab and of the INRIA research team PRIVATICS.
My research focuses on the security and privacy of various environments, through cryptographic mechanisms. Specifically, my interests include data and network security using public-key cryptography, applied to areas like federated learning, IoT, e-Health, blockchain technologies, and more. I design cryptographic protocols that ensure secure and efficient data sharing between humans, machines, and systems.
Previously, I was a senior lecturer at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Eurecom in France and at NTNU in Norway. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong in Australia.
Research
My research interests include data and network security, public key (pre- and post-quantum) cryptography, and blockchain technologies. My work focuses on the design of cryptographic protocols applied to various domains such as IoT, eHealth and eVoting. More specifically, I like to invent stories where humans, computers, machines aim to interact, communicate, share data securely and efficiently, and propose new systems that satisfy the goals and wishes of the aforementioned parties.
