I am currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the INRIA AGORA team, CITI Lab, INSA-Lyon, France since October 2016. I am working on energy-efficient Self-organization in Internet of Things (IoTs).
Prior to this, i was a visiting research fellow at Computer Engineering Departement Baskin School of Engineering, University of California Santa Cruz, CA, USA. I completed my Ph.D in Computer Science from University Paris-Est, France in November 2016. I obtained a BS degree in Telecommunication Engineering from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Islamabad, Pakistan in June 2009. In May 2013, I received a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National University of Sciences and Technology (SEECS, NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan.
My current research interests are content caching and distribution in Information/Content Centric Networks (ICNs/CCNs), Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs), Fog/Edge Networking and Internet of Things (IoTs).
