About Me

I am currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the Inria team, CITI Lab, INSA-Lyon, France since October 2016. I am working on energy-efficient self-organization of low-power devices for data collection and diffusion in Internet of Things (IoTs).

Prior to this, I was a visiting research fellow at Computer Engineering Departement Baskin School of Engineering, University of California Santa Cruz, CA, USA. I completed my Ph.D in Computer Science from University Paris-Est, France in November 2016. In May 2013, I received a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National University of Sciences and Technology (SEECS, NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. I obtained a BS degree in Telecommunication Engineering from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Islamabad, Pakistan in June 2009.

My current research interests are content caching and distribution in Information/Content Centric Networks (ICNs/CCNs), Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, Fog/Edge Networking and Internet of Things (IoTs).
